Seamless, affordable, fully waterproof
Sheet vinyl was waterproof flooring long before it was fashionable, and decades of design upgrades mean today's product looks nothing like the kitchen floor you might remember from a grandparent's house. Burke Flooring installs sheet vinyl in the Greater Columbus Area kitchens, laundry rooms, mudrooms, bathrooms, and full commercial facilities.
Because it goes down in large continuous sheets, there are few or no seams for water to work its way through - exactly what you want in any room where spills, splashes, or daily mopping are part of the routine.
Where sheet vinyl outperforms plank and tile options
Sheet vinyl isn't trying to pass for hardwood - it's aiming to be the most practical, lowest-maintenance floor available. In the rooms below, that's exactly what most homeowners are after.
- Laundry rooms - one seamless sheet, no leaks to worry about
- Small bathrooms - waterproof and budget-friendly
- Mudrooms - shrugs off Central Ohio's winter snow, salt, and muddy boots
- Basement bathrooms - low total project cost
- Commercial - healthcare, schools, daycares (with Forbo Marmoleum and Polyflor safety vinyl)
Special Financing Available*
*Subject to credit approval. Minimum monthly payments required. See design consultant for details.

We carry Armstrong, Mannington, Tarkett, Forbo Marmoleum, Polyflor, and Altro safety flooring. For most homes, mid-range Armstrong or Mannington sheet vinyl delivers strong durability at a fair price. For commercial and healthcare projects, Forbo's bacteriostatic Marmoleum and Polyflor's slip-resistant safety vinyl are the industry go-tos.
Professional installation
Sheet vinyl looks simple but is genuinely tricky to install well - rolling out a 12-foot sheet, fitting it precisely around walls and toilets, and bonding it with zero trapped air pockets takes real practice. Our own installers handle full-spread adhesive or perimeter installation depending on the product, and we heat-weld seams on safety vinyl for true commercial-grade water containment, all under our one-year installation guarantee. Sheet Vinyl Flooring - frequently asked questions
For small bathrooms, often yes - one seamless sheet leaves no joints for water to work through. [LVP](/luxury-vinyl-plank) tends to be the better call for larger, open areas where the look of individual planks matters more.
Quality residential sheet vinyl lasts 15-20 years, and commercial sheet vinyl with heat-welded seams can go 25+ years even in heavy-traffic facilities.
Sometimes - if the existing floor is flat, well-bonded, and not too deeply embossed. We check on-site and recommend skim-coating, full removal, or a direct overlay depending on what we find.
No - Marmoleum is natural linoleum made from linseed oil, jute, and wood flour. It's bacteriostatic and biodegradable, which is why it shows up so often in hospitals and schools. Questions about what's right for your space? [Get a free estimate](/free-estimate).
