Flooring installation in Grove City, OH

The homes along the Town Center and Broadway corridor mostly went up in the mid-1900s, and a lot of them are still hiding their original oak strip flooring under decades-old carpet. That's some of our favorite work: pull up the carpet, sand it back, and watch a homeowner see their own floor for the first time in fifty years. If that sounds like your living room, our [hardwood refinishing](/hardwood-refinishing) page walks through what to expect.

Newer Grove City neighborhoods around Pinnacle Club and the redevelopment near Beulah Park sit on poured concrete slabs rather than the crawlspaces and basements common downtown, which points those homes toward engineered hardwood or luxury vinyl plank instead of solid wood. Either way, winter matters here too - Franklin County road crews salt heavily, and that ice-melt tracked in on boots is hard on any floor finish, so we talk through mats and finish choices at the door before we ever measure a room.

Every job starts with a [free in-home estimate](/free-estimate): we bring samples to your kitchen table, measure every room ourselves, and leave a written number before we're back in the truck. Randy, April, RJ and the rest of the crew are Burke Flooring employees, not subcontracted labor, and every install carries our one-year installation guarantee.
