We schedule most floor-repair assessments within 2 to 4 business days of the call. Active water leaks and trip-hazard fixes get bumped to the same week.
On [hardwood](/hardwood-flooring), vinyl plank, and laminate we replace board-for-board and feather the finish, so a properly executed repair is invisible from across the room.
Most squeaks can be fixed from below if there's basement or crawl-space access, by re-securing the subfloor to the joists. Squeaks in the middle of a sealed floor sometimes need us to lift and re-screw the affected planks.
